Aim Research is proud to announce that it has achieved certification under the Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites (GCSA), awarded by the International Accrediting Organization for Clinical Research (IAOCR).
This achievement makes Aim Research one of only a small number of clinical research sites in Australia to attain this internationally recognised certification and reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence, quality, and continuous improvement in clinical research.
The GCSA certification recognises organisations that demonstrate adherence to globally benchmarked best-practice standards and modern ICH-GCP principles, extending beyond regulatory compliance to encompass the systems, processes, culture, and workforce that support the delivery of high-quality clinical research.
Achieving this certification represents a significant milestone for Aim Research and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for study participants, sponsors, research partners, and the wider community.
As part of this achievement, Aim Research has also been invited to join the IAOCR Global Best Practices Board. This appointment provides an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and advancement of international quality standards in clinical research, working alongside industry leaders from around the world to promote excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the sector.
Dr Claire Morbey, Director of Research at AIM Research, reflected on the certification journey:
“We are proud to have achieved the GCSA Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites through the International Accrediting Organization for Clinical Research (IAOCR).
The certification process was an extremely positive and constructive experience, providing valuable insights and reinforcing our commitment to quality, participant care, and continuous improvement. We appreciate the collaborative approach taken throughout the assessment and are delighted to have our standards recognised through this internationally respected accreditation.
We look forward to sharing this achievement with our sponsors, participants, and community as we continue to deliver excellence in clinical research.”
This recognition reflects the dedication, professionalism, and expertise of the entire AIM Research team. We extend our thanks to our staff, participants, sponsors, and research partners whose support enables us to continue raising the standard of clinical research.
As AIM Research continues to grow, we remain focused on delivering high-quality, participant-centred clinical trials while actively contributing to the advancement of best practices across the global clinical research community.
